Lecture Demonstration Database

Welcome to the lecture demonstration database of the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Department of Physics at UIUC has in stock thousands of physics demonstrations. This database is designed to assist the instructors in the Department to find the demonstrations they want for their lectures.

One can look for a particular lecture demonstration by:

• Browsing the Physics Categories.
  Find a demonstration by selecting the desired physics category.
• Searching by a Set of Criteria.
  Find a demonstration by setting various restrictions such as a phrase in the name, time limit, etc..

This is an ongoing project and thus the actual content of the database is still being added. The project team would very much appreciate feedback from the users. Please let us know if you have any difficulty using this site, or if you have suggestions for its improvement.
